Spanish Green Eyes Are Smiling

My thoughts on nuclear power stations are on record - expensive and unnecessary, with the money better being spent on renewables.

So perhaps it is fitting that on the same day the UK government announced their plans to build 10 new nuclear power stations, Spain announced that over the weekend their windfarms produced the energy equivalent of 11 nuclear power stations.

Hmm, now is there anywhere in Europe that is windier than Spain???
